What if giant waterfalls released glowing seeds that transformed everything

Along a high cliff system, several giant waterfalls release thousands of glowing seeds that instantly transform every surface they touch. A visible wave of change spreads outward with each seed while untouched areas remain clearly different. Mist, rainbows, wet rock, and forests reveal the scale of the drop. Follow one seed through the air, then widen as the transformation races across the scene.
